Oil & Gas UK Awards 2013 Deadline Extended to August 23

Entrants for the Oil & Gas UK Awards are being given an extra week to submit their nominations.

Earlier this Summer, Oil & Gas UK launched its quest to find the most outstanding companies and inspirational people working in the offshore oil and gas industry by opening the nominations for this year’s Awards, sponsored by Shell U.K. Limited. Due to requests from a number of entrants over this holiday season, Oil & Gas UK has granted an extension to the deadline for nominations – which will now close at 5pm on Friday 23 August.

The Oil & Gas UK Awards is the annual showcase where the industry gathers to celebrate its up and coming talent and outstanding achievers and this year they take place at Aberdeen’s Exhibition and Conference Centre on Thursday 7 November.

Nominations are free of charge and are invited from oil and gas companies of all sizes who believe they and their people have the expertise and energy to be an award-winning performer.

There are five categories of awards, ranging from recognising excellence in business performance, to the power of mentoring. For example, the award for Business Efficiency rewards companies for efficiency, sustainability and innovation, whilst the Mentoring award recognises individuals who share their expertise and inspire young people to excel in this industry.
